К методике определения возраста тихоокеанской трески (Gadus macrocephalus)

Abstract

Представлено сравнение результатов определения возраста западно-беринговоморской трески по чешуе, отолитам и спилам лучей грудного плавника. Показано различие оценок линейного роста, полученных при использовании разных регистрирующих структур. В качестве регистрирующей структуры, наиболее пригодной для массового определения возраста тихоокеанской трески, предлагаются отолиты, для контроля определения возраста - чешуя (для младших) и лучи грудного плавника (для старших размерно-возрастных групп)./The results of ageing of the West Bering Sea cod by scale, otoliths and cuts of the pectoral fin rays are compared. The paper shows the difference between the linear growth estimates obtained through using various recording structures. The recording structure of otoliths was put forward as the most suitable for mass determination of age of the Pacific cod. The scales were found more appropriate for verification of the age of juveniles, whereas the rays of pectoral fin were better for the senior age / size groups.
