Abstract:
Прибрежная зона южных Курильских островов (южнее о. Итуруп) относится к низкобореальной подзоне бореальной зоны (Перестенко, 1982). Граница между низкобореальной и высокобореальной подзонами пролегает по пр. Екатерины (Гусарова, 1975), разделяющему о. Итуруп и о. Кунашир. Своеобразные гидрологический и климатический режимы района обуславливают высокую биологическую продуктивность прибрежных участков. Здесь доминируют растения бореальной группы, причём встречаются как представители холодноводного комплекса (арктическо-бореальные виды), так и тепловодного (бореально-тропические виды)./The objective of studies was to analyze the contemporary status of southern Kurils macrophytobentos by the results of the author's observations during 1989-2006. A total of 4 species of higher plants and 140 species of macrophyte algae were found and identified at depths between 0 and 25 m. Twelve algae species were recorded for this region for the first time. A phytogeographic characteristic of the region showed domination of wide-boreal and low-boreal species and allowed determining this flora as boreal. The coastal zone of southern Kuril Islands is divided into four sites by the character of distribution and species composition of brown algae. The most similarity of species compositions is observed between the algaflora of Shikotan Island and that of Malaya Kurilskaya Gryada. Dominating associations were revealed. The structure and distribution of dominating associations described will allow using their resources more rationally and developing measures for minimizing anthropogenic impact under any kinds of works in the coastal zone.
