Дан обзор становления и развития командорской популяции северного морского котика. Более подробно рассмотрен период с 1958 по 2007 гг. Приводится динамика численности основных возрастных категорий котика на Командорских островах, показано влияние промысла на популяцию и перспективы рационального использования ресурсов вида./A review of the maintenance and development of northern fur seal population in the Commander Islands has provided, the period from 1958 to 2007 has analyzed more in details. Abundance dynamics of principle age cohorts of fur seals in the Commander Islands and effects of harvesting to the population and prospects of the rational use of the resource have demonstrated.
