Возможность прогнозирования термических условий в северо-западной части Тихого океана

Abstract

Исследована возможность прогноза температурных условий на поверхности северо-западной части Тихого океана в период преднерестовой миграции лососей. В качестве прогностической методики выбран статистический анализ взаимосвязи среднемесячных полей ТПО (аномалий ТПО) и приземного атмосферного давления, разложенных в ряды посредством эмпирических ортогональных функций. Показано, что прогноз термических условий на поверхности в весенне-летний период года с заблаговременностью в один месяц, с достаточной степенью достоверности, возможен только для поля аномалий ТПО./The possibility to forecast the surface temperature conditions in the northwest part of Pacific Ocean in the period of prespawning migration of salmons has been estimated. The prognostic method selected is the statistical analysis of mutual correlations between the average monthly fields of the sea surface temperature (SST or abnormities of the SST) and the near-suface atmosphere pressure distributed into the series with using empirical orthogonal functions. It has been demonstrated, that a rather reliable, one month forestalling forecast of the surface temperature conditions for the spring-summer period is possible only for the field of the abnormal SST. The reliability of the forecast can be enhanced through introduction of the basis supplementary data into the analysis.
