Abstract

В ХХ столетии происходили значительные изменения в жизни Каспийского моря, связанные с влиянием естественных и антропогенных факторов. В монографии обобщены исследования за период с начала 1930 до конца 1980-х гг. Рассмотрено функционирование экосистемы Каспия в период падения и начала подъёма уровня моря. Подробно исследованы флора и фауна, прослежена динамика всех составляющих экосистемы, начиная от фитопланктона и заканчивая водоплавающими птицами. Большое внимание уделено практическим проблемам, связанным с эксплуатацией и защитой природных ресурсов./Considerable changes in the life conditions of the Caspian Sea occurred in the XX th century are shown to be associated with an impact of natural and anthropogentic factors. A review of investigations performed over the period from the early 1930ies through the early 1980ies is given in the monograph. Consideration is given to the functioning of the Caspian ecosystem during the period of sea level descending and beginning of ascending. Flora and fauna are thoroughly studied and the dynamics of all the ecosystem components are followed from phytoplankton to water fowls. Much attention is given to practical problems connected with the use and protection of natural resources.
