История экспедиционных исследований на Каспии

Abstract

В работе представлена краткая историческая хроника проведения экспедиционных рыбохозяйственных исследований на Каспийском море: от первых экспедиций (ХVIII в.) до настоящего времени. Делается однозначный вывод о чрезвычайной важности результатов этих экспедиций для оценки численности и биомассы водных биологических ресурсов во взаимосвязи со средой обитания и разработки прогноза их состояния в краткосрочной, среднесрочной и долгосрочной перспективах. В настоящее время формирование биоресурсов Каспийского бассейна происходит в сложных условиях. Многие промысловые объекты находятся в депрессивном состоянии, а численность некоторых видов рыб - только на начальной стадии восстановления, ряд морских видов промыслом не осваивается. Предложены первоочередные мероприятия по сохранению экосистемы Каспия и его биоресурсов./The paper presents a short historical chronicle of expeditionary fisheries investigations of the Caspian Sea - from the first expeditins (the 18th century) until recently. It is concluded that the results of these expeditions are of great importance for estimation of abundance and biomass of aquatic biological resources that are in correlation with environment and for elaboration of the forecast of their state in short-term, medium-term and long-term outlook. At present the development of bioresources of the Caspian Sea basin occurs in difficult conditions. Many commercial species are in a depressive state while the abundance of others is at the initial stage of restoration and some marine species are not commercially exploited. Top-priority measures for conservation of the Caspian Sea ecosystem and its bioresources are proposed.
