dc.description.abstract The analysis of aquaculture status on the south of Russia is given in the paper, causes for level recession of farmed fish production in freshwater bodies of southern country regions are shown. Prospects of reconstruction and development of fish farming under conditions of fish cultivation in ponds and lakes are specified.
