Abstract:
Temporal and spatial variability of total productivity in Antarctic water depending on climatic conditions is considered. Favorable and unfavorable periods of commercial Antarctic krill concentration are established. The Antarctic krill is a most valuable fishing object in the Antarctic waters. It makes a basic part of feeding ration for numerous consumers. A spatial inhomogeneity of the Antarctic krill distribution is shown. Chemical indices of the high-productivity areas of the Antarctic water are established. It is shown the chemical indices of the dense Antarctic Shelf waters in the Slope areas intensified the Antarctic Slope front that is a most high-fish capacity area in Antarctic.
